Squabbling Galahs

My first attempt at taxidermy. I had help from a mate who specializes in taxidermy of birds and fish. He showed me the basics of Taxidermy. They are mounted on a large piece of wood which looks like it has been chewed by the birds. galahs have a habit of gnawing the bark off trees so this log was perfect. I have mounted them as if the bottom one has annoyed the shit out of the top one and the top one if just about to take off. they are not totally finished there still needs to be a third one flying onto the branch

I am very pleased with my results, and will defiantly continue it further.

Their names are PUNCH (bottom) and JUDY (top)
